The heart of LIFE...

Yesterday I visited one of my favorite shops 'De Brocanterie' The owner of the shop showed me around into the bedazzled world of Brocante and I loved it! Here are some pic's of my favorite pieces. P.S. In about 5 weeks I will enter the shop again to see the summer transformation, can't wait!

Awkward moments.. Blush Blush

1. You got the giggles during a serious conversation when you shouldn't have. And you couldn't stop laughing, even when you tried to.

2. You called somebody you liked (a boy ;-) but hung up before he had a chance to pick up. 

3. When you fell down or stumbled across the street you took a look around to see if no one noticed you from falling and than you just walked away pretending that it never ever happened. 

4. You showed up at a fancy party, totally wearing the wrong dresscode. 

5. While you pretended a fake phone call, you got a real call instead, it even started to ring.. Awkward. 

6. You attempted parallel parking (file parkeren)while somebody else was looking at you, but you couldn't do it, and you drove away as fast as you could. Totally embarrassed (blush, blush). 

7. Made use of your creditcard/switchcard when you knew there was nothing on it..

8. You automatically called out the name of your ex-boyfriend while you were talking to your current boyfriend (and you acted as if nothing happened).

9. You denied snuggling an ugly guy. To bad you and the guy got caught on camera in the midst of action. Oops ;-).

For when you get bored..

1. Go to the grocery shop and buy summer fruits and turn them into a lovely salad. 
2. Go for a run in the sun, it not only makes you feel good in the end but it will also tone your body. 
3. Select all the clothes that you don't wear anymore and give them away to friends or to third world parties.
4. Tear out your favorite pictures and images and start an inspiration wall. 
5. Get your friends together an visit a festival.
6. Book a trip to wherever you wanna go! And just go! 
7. Play Steffie Stunt Pilot.
8. Get your photo camera and make pictures of all the things you love. 
9. Go out into the fields and gather some daisies to make a crown.
10. Visit one of these websites, www.nelly.com or www.net-a-porter.com and pick something you'd die for. 
11. Call your friends and invite them for the biggest picnic ever!! 
12. Write a letter to your best friend.
13. Draw your favorite object and turn it into a canvas painting.

15. Go to a second hand clothing shop and look for vintage jewelry.

In the midst of TRAVELING

What I love most in life is traveling by train. Because the train brings me everywhere I want to go, to my friends, my love, my family and unfamiliar people. Sometimes I get to meet people during the traveling. Most of time those people inspire me as they tell their life story in a flash. Talking to strangers makes easier to talk because that person doesn’t know you and is not there to judge. Jus listening is enough. And I must say that I’m inspired by this short movie you’re about to see. Let me know what you think.. 

On the sneaker side of LIFE

Portraying my wardrobe you can describe my style as chic bohemian. I’m not at all the sneaker type of girl, because it just doesn’t go with my wardrobe, at least I thought so. Here I am, (a little bit) tipsy and on sneakers because it’s more practical and it goes with my style( at least I think so).. Not sure, but why not try. As long as boys keep on turning their heads, I’m still OK in my sneakers. And it is so comfy after wearing heels all winter long!!! So for one week I am starting my sneaker way of life and so far so good. Accept for the fact that people I know look at me like what the hell is she wearing. And the second thing they say is “Wow! I’d never expected you to wear sneakers, but it goes with your style.” 

It’s a spring thing
